We are currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable AWS Lab Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a passion for sharing their expertise through hands-on training and lab sessions. As an AWS Lab Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering practical training and mentorship to individuals seeking to enhance their skills and proficiency in AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver hands-on lab exercises and projects focused on various AWS services, architectures, and solutions, tailored to different skill levels and learning objectives.
- Facilitate lab sessions both in-person and virtually, guiding participants through practical activities and providing real-time assistance and support as needed.
- Create and maintain lab environments, ensuring that all necessary AWS resources, tools, and configurations are set up and accessible for participants during training sessions.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to integrate lab exercises seamlessly into training programs, aligning with learning outcomes and objectives.
- Assist participants in troubleshooting technical issues, debugging AWS configurations, and overcoming challenges encountered during lab activities.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS updates, announcements, and best practices, incorporating new features and functionalities into lab exercises and training materials.
- Evaluate participants' performance and progress through lab assessments, projects, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Assist in marketing and promoting lab-based training offerings, including creating promotional materials and participating in outreach activities to attract new participants.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with AWS, with hands-on experience deploying and managing AWS services and solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, with expertise in areas such as compute, storage, networking, security, and databases within AWS.
- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.
- Experience designing and delivering hands-on training sessions or lab-based workshops, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
