Job Title: Intake Operative

Location: Hill Farm, Farningham Hill Road, Farningham, Kent, DA4 0JR

Salary: £13.00 per hour

About the Role

Are you organized and proactive? We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our intake and yard operations, ensuring efficient unloading, stock handling, and site cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods, including fresh produce, packaging, and waste materials.
• Maintaining yard and loading bay housekeeping standards.
• Picking orders and decanting pallets to support production needs.
• Operating machinery for baling and compacting waste materials.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
• Maintaining forklift and handling equipment, completing pre-work checks.
• Accurately completing stock records, weight checks, and traceability documentation.
• Liaising with the Production Manager and Despatch Supervisors on customer orders and stock requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A hands-on team player with a proactive attitude.
• Physical stamina with a good level of self-motivation.
• Experience operating balers, compactors, and handling stock rotation.
• Respect for rules and regulations.

Working Hours

48 hours per week, working 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis (including weekends). Shifts between 07:00 and 17:00, with flexibility required.
