Our goal is to offer high-quality education, giving students the tools and confidence to succeed despite the challenges they face in traditional educational settings.

Role Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Digital Communications & Marketing Lead to develop and oversee EK Outreach Services' entire external communications strategy. This is a pivotal role requiring a drive on our digital presence, strengthening our brand, and increasing awareness amongst commissioners, schools, families, and professionals. You will be responsible for supporting recruitment campaigns, managing our website and social media channels, producing high-quality marketing materials, and ensuring a consistent, professional identity across all communications.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including recruitment campaigns, local authority awareness campaigns, referral generation, and school engagement initiatives. Manage the production of marketing collateral, including prospectuses, brochures, exhibition materials, pull-up banners, presentations, and other printed literature. Oversee the marketing budget and track return on investment for all campaigns.

Oversee community management, responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality visual and written content, including photography, video, Reels, case studies, student stories, parent stories, staff spotlights, and event coverage. Capture authentic stories that showcase the impact of our work on students and families. Liaise with teaching staff, students, and families to gather content and testimonials.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with the Recruitment team to support recruitment campaigns, producing recruitment videos, 'day in the life' features, staff interviews, teacher testimonials, mentor campaigns, and vacancy graphics. Ensure all recruitment marketing materials are on-brand and effectively attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Internal Communications: Oversee internal communications, including the production of staff, parent, and student newsletters. Coordinate communications for Award Evening content and CPD communications. Ensure staff are kept informed and engaged through clear, consistent internal messaging.
  • Public Relations (PR): Manage PR activities, including writing and distributing press releases. Coordinate award submissions, conference promotion, speaking engagements, magazine articles, and TES features. Develop and maintain charity partnerships and other external relationships.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Produce comprehensive monthly reports on key metrics, including website visitors and behaviour (via Google Analytics), social media reach and engagement, referral enquiries generated, recruitment enquiries generated, newsletter engagement, campaign success and ROI, and SEO rankings. Use data to inform strategy, optimise campaigns, and demonstrate impact to senior leadership.
