Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Mentor to support the delivery of one-to-one lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with their studies through tailored and accessible lessons. Lessons may take place in students' homes, libraries, or other agreed-upon locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish meaningful connections with students.
- Provide academic assistance along with helping children build confidence and reach their full potential.
- Support students with PSHE, Life skills, RSE and AQA Award Units learnings.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Act as a role model and mentor for personal development.
