Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Mechanic role based in Ballyclare. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring all machinery and vehicles are in optimal working condition. Daily tasks will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting preventive maintenance measures to avoid unexpected equipment breakdowns. The role requires hands-on expertise in equipment diagnostics and repair to support the efficiency of ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
- Proficiency with Heavy Equipment operations, diagnostics, and servicing
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical problems effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are advantageous
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within the engineering industry is a plus
- Proven experience as a Fleet or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
