This is a dynamic and international company in the corporate apartment space, with offices in the US, Spain, Singapore, and the UAE. The business has recently completed two acquisitions and is on a strong upward growth trajectory. The most important thing to note is their culture: it is truly collaborative, happy and collegiate - the kind of place where your contribution will be valued and visible.

The role: As Sole Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for building robust legal frameworks and establishing best legal practice across the business. Your remit will be broad and hands-on, and will include:

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of supplier and customer agreements.
  • Centralising and standardising the contract review and approval process across the organisation.
  • Managing relationships with external counsel.
  • Ensuring GDPR and global privacy compliance, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Advising on other legal matters such as employment and real estate.

About you: The successful Sole Counsel will be a commercially astute and self-sufficient lawyer with 5-7 years of post-qualified experience. Experience across commercial contracts, data protection, and general corporate matters is essential. Exposure to US business practices is also key, as the business's growth in the US is rapid. You’ll be confident operating as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, comfortable making decisions independently, and will bring both a commercial outlook and a keen eye for legal risks. Initially, you’ll be in the office 5 days a week whilst you get your feet under the table.

In return: A pivotal, high-impact role in an ambitious, growth-focused company. Full autonomy to shape the legal function. A supportive and people-focused working culture. A salary of £90k-£100k.
