You are a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney with a passion for new technology in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Materials, and Electromechanical systems. Applications are also welcomed from progressive Finalist level candidates.

This award-winning international firm is looking to expand their Engineering practice group and is seeking a talented individual to assist with exciting new projects with established clients, as well as a burgeoning pipeline of work emanating from recent client acquisitions.

The range of subject matter available is broad-reaching and includes manufacturing, aeronautical (transport), and consumer product technologies. Much of the work available is almost exclusively direct client work on behalf of many UK-based and multinational companies across numerous sectors.

There is a good proportion of drafting and prosecution work, complemented by FTO, infringement & validity, and other contentious areas of IP. Uniquely, opportunities exist for secondments to UK-based clients – further underlining this firm’s commitment to providing the highest level of service while expanding the skill sets and experience of Attorneys.

You should possess an innate interest in the commercial aspects of IP work, as well as an ability to express complex information in a clear and concise manner.
