You’re a CPA and/or EPA qualified Patent Attorney with a background in Biochemistry, Biology or Genetics looking for a unique role that can provide an exciting blend of interesting and challenging Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals related IP work.

You may be currently working in private practice where you’ve honed your drafting and prosecution skills but wish to gain more exposure to strategic IP licensing, and stakeholder advice in relation to patent portfolio management. Similarly, you may have acquired skills working as an in-house Patent Attorney that could add immediate value to this firm’s growth.

This expanding boutique firm is looking to appoint a single or dual-qualified Patent Attorney who genuinely enjoys direct stakeholder liaison and is confident with analysing and explaining often complex scientific information to a range of decision-makers.

You should possess an ability to advise clients on their respective IP filing strategies on an individual basis, prioritising the quality of your legal and scientific advice accordingly. If you can navigate the IP landscape for clients of all sizes, and provide commercially robust solutions that protect their interests, then your expertise will dovetail very well with this firm’s own strategic direction.

This firm can provide work from an established client base, but there is also capacity to further expand their domestic and international reach, so Attorneys with previous experience of developing and nurturing clients will be advantageous.

There is scope to build a practice under your name and contribute to the strategic objectives of the firm, whilst mirroring your own professional ambitions. You can look forward to a hybrid working policy that enables you to harmonise your professional and personal commitments, as both remote and office working solutions can be tailored for the right individual.

If you’re looking to break free from the relative confines of corporate practice life and wish to be part of something truly exciting and progressive, then contact James Dawes at jamesd@ejgroup.co.uk for more information.
