Trade Mark Attorney (UK Qualified) 2–5 Years' PQE International Private Practice Various UK locations (Hybrid working is supported)
This leading specialist intellectual property private practice is looking to appoint a qualified Trade Mark Attorney with 2–5 years' PQE to support the continued growth of its highly regarded Trade Mark team.
This is an opportunity to join an established practice group with a wealth of experience spread across a network of locations. You'll be immediately tasked with advising an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients, taking ownership of your own matters and developing your career within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Key Accountabilities
You'll play a key role in supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of their respective trade mark portfolios, including:
- Advising on trade mark clearance, filing strategies, prosecution and portfolio management.
- Handling UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO matters, while coordinatinginternational filings through overseas associate networks.
- Managing contentious matters including oppositions, invalidity and revocation actions, and advising on enforcement strategies.
- Providing commercially focused advice on brand protection, licensing, coexistence agreements and widertrade mark strategy.
- Building strong client relationships through responsive,pragmatic and commercially astute advice.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider intellectual property practice to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Supporting business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and win new work.
Your profile
You are a qualified UK Trade Mark Attorney with 2–5 years' post-qualification experience and a strong grounding in UK and international trade mark practice. You'll enjoy working directly with clients, have excellent communication skills and be keen to take on increasing levels of responsibility as your career develops. You may be currently working in an IP private practice or full-service law firm with an integrated Trade Mark team.
You relish the complexity of navigating Trade Mark strategies on behalf of a broad range of clients across sectors to include; FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle, Food & Drink, Tech, Engineering and Life Sciences - but also possess the capacity to broaden your sector knowledge and build upon your contentious and non-contentious legal work.
Experience of developing your own client base, networking, marketing initiatives and building your own personal brand as a Trade Mark Attorney will be integral to your professional growth.
