The Role

Working alongside recognised leaders in the profession, you will advise a diverse portfolio of innovative clients on matters including:

  • UK, European and international patent drafting and prosecution
  • EPO opposition and appeal proceedings
  • Patent portfolio development and management
  • Freedom‑to‑operate and validity opinions
  • Strategic IP advice supporting the commercial objectives of an established, long‑standing client base.

The firm is known for handling complex, high‑value matters and offers Attorneys the opportunity to work closely with clients from an early stage in their careers.

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from candidates who possess:

  • A degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Part-UK and Part-European Patent Attorney qualification (recently qualified candidates will also be considered)
  • Strong patent drafting and prosecution experience
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • A genuine interest in strategic and technically challenging IP work
