We are working with a highly respected, full-service law firm with a market-leading Finance practice, known for its expertise in asset management, complex transactions, and cross-border matters. As part of their continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join their busy Finance department on a fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handsâon experience supporting highâprofile legal work in a collaborative, highâperforming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with transaction documents, including drafting, organisation, and creation of transaction bibles
- Managing legal documents: proofreading, amending, printing, scanning, filing, and archiving
- Conducting legal and factual research using recognised legal research tools
- Supporting due diligence processes, including document review and drafting short reports or summaries
- Coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution
- Providing direct support on client matters, including chargeable work and ad hoc administrative tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have a Law degree or GDL and at least 3 months' prior experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment. You must be confident working independently, while also contributing to team success. You should have:
- Strong attention to detail, especially when proofreading or managing complex documents
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- A proactive and solutionsâfocused approach to tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters
- The ability to adapt to changing workloads and deadlines with flexibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
