A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a French-speaking Paralegal to join the highly regarded Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud team at a leading City law firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an outstanding chance to gain valuable, hands-on experience working on complex, high-stakes disputes and investigations in a top-tier legal setting.

The Role

Working closely with senior solicitors and partners, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and analysing legal documents and case files
  • Attending client meetings, court hearings, and conference calls, with accurate and detailed note-taking
  • Drafting correspondence and internal memos
  • Preparing court bundles and managing disclosure exercises
  • Liaising with Counsel, clients, and external parties
  • Providing high-quality translation and interpretation support
  • Assisting with general case logistics and document management

About You

  • At least 6 months’ experience in a litigation or disputes-based role (essential)
  • Previous exposure to civil fraud or white-collar crime matters is advantageous
  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
