An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Employment Associate to join the highly regarded Employment team of a prestigious City firm in London. The team is recognised for advising employers, senior executives, partnerships and family offices on a broad range of complex and sensitive employment matters. The team is particularly regarded for advising senior individuals and partnerships.

Role

  • Advising employers on day‑to‑day employment law issues and strategic workforce matters
  • Acting for senior executives, partners and individuals on contentious and non‑contentious matters
  • Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution
  • Advising on exits, restrictive covenants and team moves
  • Partnership and LLP disputes
  • Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
  • Corporate support work on transactions and restructurings
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, service agreements and settlement arrangements

The role offers an excellent balance of contentious and advisory work, together with significant opportunities to contribute to client development, know‑how initiatives and the continued growth of the practice.

Candidate Profile

  • Be a qualified solicitor with circa. 2–4 years' post‑qualification experience in employment law
  • Have experience acting for both corporate and individual clients
  • Have a mix of contentious and non‑contentious employment experience
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across a broad range of employment matters
