A leading national law firm with a substantial London office is seeking to expand its Digital Regulatory and Competition capability as part of a strategic investment in its technology‑driven regulatory offering. The firm has a strong UK footprint and is widely recognised for advising digital platforms and consumer‑facing businesses on complex regulatory, commercial and compliance issues.

While the firm already has deep expertise in consumer regulation and the emerging Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) regime, it is looking to strengthen its competition law bench to meet growing client demand. The ideal candidate will have experience advising digital platforms on competition issues, including digital markets regulation, behavioural investigations, platform conduct and the evolving UK and EU frameworks such as the DMCC and DMA. Experience gained in‑house at major technology companies or within leading competition practices is particularly valuable.

The team is deeply embedded with major digital clients, supporting them across consumer regulation, commercial strategy, AI governance and digital compliance. With these clients facing significant and ongoing competition exposure, there is a strong and consistent pipeline of advisory and enforcement‑related work.

The firm is open to speaking with established partners as well as senior lawyers seeking their first step into partnership. This is a key strategic hire offering the opportunity to shape and grow a high‑demand practice area within a collaborative, ambitious and well‑resourced platform.
