We are working with a well‑established City firm that is seeking to expand its non‑contentious Financial Services Regulatory practice with a new lateral partner hire. The incoming partner will focus on high‑quality regulatory advisory work across the banking, insurance and investment management sectors, with additional exposure to fintech‑adjacent matters, where relevant.
The role will span core regulatory advisory work, including:
- Regulatory capital matters for banks and insurers
- PRA/FCA advice and supervisory engagement
- SMCR governance, approvals and compliance
- Financial promotions and product governance
- Remuneration codes and executive pay
- Regulatory input on acquisitions, restructurings and new product development
The successful candidate will advise a varied portfolio of challenger banks, overseas institutions and other regulated entities. The hiring partners welcome interest from existing partners, as well as senior lawyers seeking their first step into partnership. The incoming Partner will work closely with an established client base while helping to shape the continued growth of the group.
