An exciting opportunity has arisen for a French-speaking Paralegal to join a top-tier City law firm’s renowned Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience on complex, high-value disputes and investigations within a leading legal environment.
The Role:
- Supporting senior solicitors and partners, your key responsibilities will include:
- Review and analyse case materials
- Reviewing and analysing legal and case documentation
- Attending client meetings, court hearings, and conference calls, with detailed note-taking
- Drafting correspondence and internal memoranda
- Preparing court bundles and managing disclosure materials
- Liaising with Counsel and clients
- Provide high-level translation and interpretation support (French to English and English to French)
- Assisting with case logistics and maintaining key records and documents
About you:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a litigation or disputes role (essential)
- Prior exposure to civil fraud or business crime matters is beneficial
- Business-fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- A strong communicator, proactive and a collaborative team player
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
