This market-leading international firm is seeking an experienced Product Liability Partner to join their leading Product Liability and Life Sciences team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of one of the firm’s most dynamic global practice areas.
About the Role
Their Product Liability and Life Sciences team advises many of the world’s leading manufacturers, insurers and distributors on complex, high-value product liability and regulatory matters. They act across a range of sectors to include medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, consumer goods and technology, handling both domestic and multi-jurisdictional cases. As a Partner, you’ll play a key role in leading high-profile litigation and regulatory projects, expanding their client relationships, and developing new opportunities. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across their offices worldwide, collaborating with leading experts in product risk, insurance, and commercial litigation. There is an established Associate and support team in place, so you can be reassured of a dedicated, experienced and talented resource infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead major product liability cases, group litigation and multijurisdictional disputes.
- Advise on product safety, recalls, compliance and risk management.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships with global insurers and corporates.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm’s product liability and life sciences practice.
- Mentor and support the development of lawyers within the team.
About You
The firm are looking for a recognised product liability specialist with strong technical and commercial expertise. You’ll have experience advising manufacturers, distributors or insurers on complex product-related disputes and regulatory issues, ideally with an international dimension. You’ll be a collaborative leader with a pragmatic approach and a genuine interest in growing both your own practice and the wider team. A portable client following or demonstrable business development success is a prerequisite for this position, for you to leverage your strongest client relationships in a new environment.
