- Team Leader
- GP Surgery - Leicester
- 25.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday - 1pm - 6:30pm

The role of the Team Leader will be too
- Lead the afternoon care navigation team
- Provide day to day leadership to the team
- Support the practice with a wide range of administration and care navigation duties
- Allocate and prioritise workloads,
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues,
- Support the day-to-day organisation of the reception and administrative team,
- Identify and understand patient needs and requirements, through appropriate questioning
- Carry out the same core reception and administrative duties alongside colleagues,
- Maintain high standards of patient confidentiality.
- Carry out all necessary general office duties
- Take responsibility for coordinating and supporting the smooth running of the service.
The suitable Team Leader will
- Have previous work history in a similar fast paced environment
- Have experience working in a similar Team Leader role
- Demonstrate a work history within healthcare
- Be supportive and lead by example
- Demonstrate an outgoing, friendly personality with a desire to meet new people
- Have the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
- Be flexible to support the wider practice
- Have the ability to stay calm under pressure and to be able to multi-task in a similar environment
- Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to the changing working practices of a busy medical environment
- Have good administrative, IT and keyboard skills
