We are supporting a GP Surgery who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Practice Manager to join their team:

  • Have previous experience in the day-to-day running of a large practice
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within practice management
  • Have proven track record in management, preferably in a primary care setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience within finance and competent in business management
  • Be flexible, approachable and possess a positive attitude
  • Possess a self-motivation and forward-thinking approach
  • Have the ability to manage change through motivation and leadership
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, management and planning skills
  • Be confident and competent with IT and communication skills
  • Have the ability to identify training and development needs in self and others, as well as experience of appraising staff
  • Uphold a positive attitude with a good sense of humour

The role of the Practice Manager will be responsible for:

  • Organisational leadership, service improvement and delivery of key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice
  • Working alongside the Partners, Administrative and Clinical team within the practice
  • Leading the practice in the new ways of working of Primary Care Networks and Integrated Care systems
  • Ensuring the practice provides a high quality primary care service to their registered population
  • Staffing, recruitment and organisational development
  • Overseeing all business development, HR and finance functions

The successful Practice Manager will receive:

  • A salary of £47,810 - £54,710 (Band 7 agenda for change)
  • Generous Holiday allowance
