The Company Eisai is a leading research based pharmaceutical organisation with an extensive portfolio across the Oncology, Neurology and Pain therapy areas. Eisai Manufacturing is the hub of Eisai’s production and supply chain. We make tablets, package these into blisters, label and package vials and bottles. We also manage the wider medicines supply chain and other companies who undertake work on our behalf. Your new role

Join Eisai and help ensure our production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. At Eisai, our human health care (hhc) philosophy is at the heart of everything we do—putting patients and people first. This role supports the Manufacturing department to ensure production equipment is readily available for operators, enabling delivery of the production schedule. You’ll play a key part in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring all activities comply with Eisai Corporate Standards, GMP, GDP, and Quality System requirements. This is a day role (07:00-15:00, 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00), but may move to shifts 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production equipment and areas
- Set up and verify production equipment, ensuring correct functionality and calibration
- Operate production equipment and automated systems within validated process parameters
- Perform in-process testing, sampling, inspections, and yield calculations
- Complete batch records and production documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of GMP and health & safety compliance
- Record and monitor performance metrics (equipment utilisation, right-first-time, schedule adherence)
- Conduct facility cleaning, including sink and drain disinfection
- Support manual packaging activities as required
- Participate in quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
- Remain flexible to support business and production schedule demands
