Your new role The Director Global Market Access, GV&A will be primarily responsible for ensuring Global support for country-level reimbursement submissions ensuring high quality, tailored evidence is used to fulfil unique reimbursement needs, strategically aligned to meet organisation goals of earliest patient access. This role will also have responsibility for developing and maintaining Global Market Access Plans and inputting into Pricing Principles for all Global Products. The remit is pan-portfolio with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease. A deep understanding of and an interest in data is key as this candidate will work closely with GV&A Payer Evidence & HEOR teams in developing all Global Payer Materials i.e. economic models, evidence synthesis and global value dossier / value messages. This role provides key Market Access input into business planning at a regional level and strategic guidance to global product functions so an understanding of the pharmaceutical business and commercial operating function’s is important. This role has line management responsibilities for 2 members of the Global Market Access team.
This is an experienced and seasoned individual, who has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting within the area of market access, health outcomes, and health economics and with a Global remit.
What are we looking for?
- A postgraduate degree in health economics or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience in market access / health economics or outcomes research is required.
- Previous Global market access experience is required.
- Previous experience in Alzheimer’s is desirable.
- Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
- Action-oriented, customer-focused, with effective prioritisation, goal setting and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills; projection of professional image and credibility; teamwork oriented and inclusive.
- A deep understanding of and an interest in clinical product data is key.
