Warehousing is a vital part of the supply chain and if you would like to be a part of this exciting industry, our role as an apprentice in our Warehouse Team could be the perfect role for you.
Role Responsibilities
- As a Warehouse Apprentice, you will be working alongside experienced Operators picking and packing stock in our modern facility using forklift trucks and your IT skills to monitor lifesaving medicines for patients.
- Packing and shipping of finished product to the customer.
- Booking in and locating of materials into the warehouse management system.
- Sampling of raw materials, API and bulk product.
- Participating in continuous improvement opportunities that result in cost savings and more efficient and compliant ways of working.
- Performing frequent stock checks on all Storage Types to maintain accurate stock information on SAP system.
The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship will be provided by the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade and will be a 15-month duration. You will have 1 study day a week and will be joining virtually. You will be expected to be on site at our offices 4 days a week.

Recruitment Process
- Step one: Apply. The first thing to do is to apply to one of our well-sought-after programmes. You will upload a CV and fill in some personal details so we can be in touch. We will review your application and ensure that you are fully eligible for the programme you have applied for. Our application process opens on 2nd February and closes on the 1st March.
- Step two: Video Interview. If you are successful at the first stage, you will be invited to take part in a one-way video interview process. This allows you to showcase yourself at a time and pace that suits you. We will be transparent in the process about the questions you will answer to allow you time to put your best foot forward. All video interviews will be scored by 16th March.
- Step three: Face to face interview. Itβs as important to us as it is to you to make sure we find the correct fit, so any successful applicant will be invited to our Hatfield Headquarters for a two-hour interview. We want you to see the site you will be working in, so we will offer you a tour alongside a face-to-face interview, presentation and individual task. Our Emerging Talent Team will guide you through this process so you will know what you need to prepare ahead of the day. Our assessment centre/interview for this role is: 24th March.
- Step four: Offer. Any successful candidate will be offered the vacancy they have applied for. Unsuccessful candidates will receive full feedback at this stage, with ideas and tips of where they can improve for future applications. We aim to get back to you at each stage within seven working days; however, please note in busy periods this may increase. Please do not worry if you have not heard from us within our allocated time frame, we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. All offers and contracts will be sent by 13th April 2026. Should you be successful, you will be invited to an in-person event on the 14th May 2026 which will allow you to meet your fellow cohort and find out more about Eisai. After this, you will be added to a group Teams channel where you will be able to find out more information and chat with your peers.
