Manager, Quality Control Operations - Permanent Position in Hatfield

Your new role This job holder is primarily responsible for oversight of EML QC product testing (bulk and finished product), incoming goods testing and supporting oversight of EML (Eisai Manufacturing) QC Microbiology and Stability programmes as required. This role reports directly to the Head of Quality Control. The role is to ensure that all materials/bulk and finished product that require testing by the laboratory are done so according to agreed specifications and procedures and within agreed lead times. The job holder must ensure that operations carried out within QC are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Eisai Quality System, GMP Guidelines and Industry Standards.

Duties are performed to ensure:

• A safe working environment is maintained for self and other Eisai employees, ensuring all near miss incidents and accidents are reported in accordance with procedures.
• The Quality of products manufactured and released is assured through adherence to all procedures.
• Opportunities to improve operations and reduce cost are identified and progressed through the continuous improvement and demand innovation initiatives.

• All stakeholder and customer expectations are understood and met through communication.
• Performance is in line with personal and Eisai objectives with demonstrated behaviors and competencies.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication links within EML, affiliated organisations and other customers.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, GMP, Regulatory Compliance and manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Good technical and scientific judgement.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present key findings.
• Computer literate e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated Knowledge, understanding and application of GMP Guidelines and Regulations.
