We are looking for one Apprentice to join Eisai’s Engineering Team based within our leading Manufacturing site in Hatfield, UK. The Engineering Team focuses on learning and developing multi-disciplined engineering skills to enable safe routine maintenance and fault finding on engineering and pharmaceutical equipment and systems.
Role requirements:- Multi-skilled engineering apprentice working within the Engineering Department of Eisai Manufacturing’s oral solid dose manufacturing and packaging facility.
- Learn and abide by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Day-to-day running and maintenance of precision engineered pharmaceutical equipment.
- Development of novel technology.
- Genuine and demonstrable interest in the practical aspects of engineering.
- Good technical aptitude.
- Willingness to work hard and fit into a team.
- Self-confident.
- Responsible attitude to work and personal development.

The Engineering apprenticeship Level 3 will be provided by Harlow College. The duration is 4 years and 3 months with block release of college days and office days. Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C and above including Maths, English and Science, and be IT literate.
Recruitment process:- Step one: Apply. Apply to one of our programmes, upload a CV and fill in personal details. The application window opens 2 February and closes 1 March.
- Step two: Video interview. A one-way video interview will be conducted and scored by 16 March.
- Step three: Face-to-face interview. A two-hour interview at Hatfield Headquarters with a site tour and an assessment centre including a presentation and individual task. The assessment centre/interview for this role is on 31 March 2026.
- Step four: Offer. Successful candidates will be offered the vacancy. Unsuccessful candidates will receive full feedback. Offers and contracts will be sent by 13 April 2026. If successful, you will be invited to an in-person event on 14 May 2026 and added to a group Teams channel for ongoing information.
