Location β EIS Waste Services Ltd, Checkbar, Nigg, Aberdeen AB12 4LP Company β EIS Waste Services Ltd Full Time Position EIS Waste Services Ltd, a leading waste management and recycling company based in Aberdeen, is seeking an experienced and proactive QHSE Manager to join our team. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) management systems across all business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, maintaining ISO accreditations, and ensuring that EIS Waste Services operates in accordance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices. Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Company's QHSE management systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure full compliance with all relevant health & safety, environmental, waste management, and quality legislation. Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits, compliance inspections, site inspections, and risk assessments. Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, customers, and other stakeholders on all QHSE matters. Deliver QHSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business. Provide QHSE support and expertise during tender submissions, contract reviews, and project execution. Monitor QHSE performance metrics and prepare management reports with recommendations for improvement. Promote and embed a proactive safety-first culture across all departments. Support operational teams in identifying and mitigating risks while driving best practice throughout the organisation. Strong working knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems. Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments. Strong understanding of relevant UK health & safety and environmental legislation. Strong report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification. Experience within the waste management, recycling, environmental services, or industrial sectors. NEBOSH General Certificate or higher qualification.
