We are working with a leading international financial services firm who is looking to add a trust/corporate professional to their team. This is a FULLY REMOTE ROLE. You must be based in the UK with right to work their and 2-3 years+ prior experience.
****Irregular hours - 10/11am - 6/7pm
> Administration of a portfolio of trust and corporate structures in accordance with internal policies and procedures
> Assisting the Trust Managing Director to analyse and interpret trust deeds and related documents with a focus on reviewing trust documents for legal, tax, administrative and nvestment issues
>Maintaining current information on beneficiaries and their changing needs and circumstances in order to prudently carry out the trustee’s fiduciary duties
> Ensuring trust and corporate transactions are properly recorded and statutory registers for clients are correct and complete
> Organising meetings, preparation of agendas, draft minutes and truste resolutions and following up with the business in respect of action items to be completed
> Assisting the team with requests and liaison with tax, accounting, legal advisors, investment managers and banks
> Independently responding to email queries and proactively engaging in the business
> Requesting and reviewing new and updated Client Due Diligence information from clients, as required, to ensure compliance with all applicable AML/ATF, sanctions and related requirements and general compliance duties
> Maintaining awareness of operational risk, anti-money laundering and compliance risks, taking action to limit exposure to risk and identify issues to management
Experience
At least 3 years' client-facing trust and/or corporate services experience
Professional
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Holding or studying towards a Diploma in International Trust Management (STEP)
• Holding chartered status or studying towards graduate status from the Corporate Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) would be advantage
