Job Specification: Fashion/Graphic Designer Fashion/Graphic Designer Belfast Full-Time Eire Designs Belfast Ltd is a dynamic and innovative fashion company specialising in the design and manufacture of Irish dancing costumes dedicated to delivering high-quality, trend-setting designs. We pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative work environment, where every team member contributes to our vision of redefining Irish dance fashion. We are looking for a talented Fashion/Graphic Designer with expertise in Adobe Suite to join our team. Key Responsibilities Develop and create original designs and graphics for various collections. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and execute seasonal collections and special projects. Produce technical sketches, illustrations, and CAD drawings using Adobe Illustrator. Create print and embroidered designs, ensuring they align with the overall collection theme and brand identity. Conduct trend research and analyse market trends to inform design decisions. Prepare detailed tech packs for production. Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain an organized archive of design files and materials. Collaborate with fittings and provide creative input to achieve desired garment aesthetics. Requirements Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Strong understanding of fashion design processes, garment construction, and textiles. Excellent sketching and illustration skills, both by hand and digitally. Ability to create detailed technical drawings and design specifications. Strong sense of colour, typography, and layout design. Knowledge of current fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics. Exceptional creativity and innovative thinking. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
