This is a 2-year fixed term contract position located with our client in Rugby, UK. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week. We are looking for an eCommerce ERP Project Manager who is willing to travel globally to support our international projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large B2B sites as well as renovating and creating new e-commerce platforms. My client proudly provides kitchen equipment solutions to the world’s largest restaurant chains.
Key Responsibilities- Define Project Scope & Objectives: Collaborate with Heads of IT and business stakeholders to establish clear project goals for commerce platform deployment and ERP integration, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business needs.
- Plan & Deliver Integration Projects: Develop detailed project plans for end-to-end delivery, covering phases such as planning, analysis & design, execution, testing, and transition to service.
- Manage Multiple Initiatives: Oversee concurrent projects involving e-commerce solutions, ERP modules, and related middleware, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement APIs, data synchronisation, and system interoperability between commerce and ERP platforms.
- Monitor & Report Performance: Track progress using appropriate tools and KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders and escalating issues when necessary.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, system compatibility, and third-party integrations.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with technology partners and maintain clear communication with business owners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architecture, workflows, and project governance.
- Experience: 5+ years in IT Project Management with a focus on system integration projects, preferably involving commerce platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with API integration, data mapping, and middleware solutions.
- Methodologies: Proven experience in Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery models.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
