Role & Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

  • Support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Support contract administration, variation management, and cost reporting.
  • Work with project teams on subcontractor procurement and management.
  • Monitor project costs, cash flow, and reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Assist in ensuring commercial controls and processes are followed.
  • Travel to site as required to support project delivery.

About You as the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost control.
  • Eager to develop and take on increasing responsibility over time.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-focused.
  • Keen to work in a collaborative environment with clear progression opportunities.
