Company: ER Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a prestigious luxury hospitality and events destination with the recruitment of an experienced Sales Office Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and growing business that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences across corporate events, conferences and private functions.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you'll play a pivotal role in leading the Sales Office team, improving operational efficiency and ensuring accurate reporting supports commercial decision-making.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to shape processes, develop people and become a trusted member of the senior leadership team.

Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Office Manager

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Sales Office team, creating a positive culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
  • Ensure sales administration, event documentation and customer information are completed accurately and issued within agreed timescales, enabling the Operations team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Act as the central point for commercial reporting, producing accurate weekly and monthly reports, forecasts and performance updates for senior leadership and business owners.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret sales data from multiple sources to provide meaningful business insight and support strategic decision-making.
  • Take ownership of the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and effective pipeline management.
  • Review sales processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, communication and reporting across the business.
  • Build strong working relationships between the Sales and Operations teams, ensuring clear communication and effective handovers for every event.
  • Support the preparation of event costings and commercial reporting to ensure accurate financial information is available.
  • Monitor team performance, setting clear expectations, providing coaching and confidently addressing performance or process issues where required.
  • Champion continuous improvement, embracing technology and recommending new ideas to improve systems, reporting and overall business performance.

About You as the Sales Office Manager

  • Previous experience within Sales Office Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Administration, Revenue Management or a similar leadership role.
  • A confident and credible people manager with the ability to motivate teams, challenge performance and hold others accountable.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing management reports, forecasts and commercial insights.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across departments and with senior stakeholders.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for opportunities to improve processes and implement more efficient ways of working.
  • Hospitality experience would be advantageous but is not essential; we welcome applications from candidates with strong commercial operations or sales support backgrounds from other sectors.

Additional Benefits

  • Competitive salary, with a realistic performance-related bonus of up to 20% (OTE £60,000).
