The Company: Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & People Advisor to support the Head of People and HR across a broad operational remit. This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to somebody who enjoys staying one step ahead, improving processes and supporting both people and business operations.
Role & Responsibilities of the HR & People Advisor:
- Provide comprehensive HR and people support across the employee lifecycle
- Manage HR administration including contracts, onboarding documentation and employee records
- Support employee relations processes including absence management, investigations and general HR queries
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities
- Maintain HR systems, reports and databases ensuring GDPR compliance and accuracy
- Work closely with the Head of People and HR to support operational priorities and continuous improvement projects
- Act as a key liaison across departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination
- Support training, wellbeing initiatives and wider people-focused projects across the business
About You as the HR & People Advisor:
- Previous experience within HR, people operations or a highly coordinated business support role
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly proactive with a solutions-focused and forward-thinking approach
- Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing changing priorities
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 would be advantageous
