The Company:
ER Recruitment are thrilled to be collaborating with our outstanding national client. Leading the way within their industry, the forward-thinking organisation are seeking a self-motivated and driven Territory Sales Executive to join their team, generate new business and close sales.
Role & Responsibilities of the Territory Sales Manager:
- Actively seek out new sales lead opportunities and build a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking and other lead generation techniques.
- Utilise the provided cold data to follow up sales leads and develop them into potential customers.
- Product Knowledge: maintain an understanding of products for educating customers on the advantages, ensuring they can make informed decisions.
- Understand the needs and challenges of prospective clients and present our supply/collection solutions as the best choice.
- Accountable for the timely and accurate completion of all requirements of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage all aspects of sales leads and customer interactions.
- Close sales deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- If sale cannot be closed, gain customer agreement to be contacted in future and pass the lead to the Telesales team for follow-up.
- Ensure full customer detail is recorded to enable customers to be serviced properly and passed successfully to Customer Services after the first sale.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings.
- Provide customer/market feedback to the business to ensure our solutions remain competitive and aligned with customer needs.
About You as the Territory Sales Manager:
- Full UK Drivers Licence and own car are essential for this role.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 11am to 7pm (some flexibility may be possible).
- Field-based, face to face, business to business sales experience. Experience of the Hospitality sector a significant advantage.
- Confident and with proven capability in working with IT systems. Capable and willing to document activity in systems.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools an advantage.
- Effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Confident, self-motivated, results and goal-driven
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively, but still act as an effective team member of the wider sales team.
