  • Role & Responsibilities Of The Finance & Operations Director
  • Provide strategic leadership across the finance and operations functions during the maternity cover period.
  • Lead the implementation and integration of a new ERP/MRP system, ensuring successful adoption across the business.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and commercial insight.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, parent company and senior leadership team to support strategic objectives.
  • Oversee financial governance, controls, compliance and risk management.
  • Lead and support finance and operational teams, ensuring continuity throughout the contract.

About You As The Finance & Operations Director

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant senior finance leadership experience.
  • Strong manufacturing or engineering background with a good understanding of operational processes.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering ERP/MRP implementation or major systems transformation projects.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to influence strategic decisions while remaining hands-on where required.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • A collaborative and approachable leader, capable of building strong relationships across all areas of the business.
