The Company
ER Recruitment are working with a leading UK manufacturer of fenestration products, specialising in high-quality UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and screening solutions. With a reputation built on reliability, innovation, and service, we continue to expand and are looking for skilled Fabricators to join their production team in Blackburn.
Role & Responsibilities Of The Window Fabricator
- Measuring, cutting, and drilling UPVC and aluminium to create windows, doors, curtain wall and screen systems.
- Assembling frames, fitting seals, hinges, handles, locks, and other ancillaries.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and design plans.
- Operating CNC machinery and other tools to fabricate precision components.
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure all products meet required standards.
- Scanning barcodes to update the production schedule.
- Following health & safety procedures and contributing to a safe, lean working environment.
About You As The Window Fabricator
- Proven experience in UPVC/aluminium fabrication or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fenestration products and their component parts.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Competent in using power tools and CNC machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit with the stamina to handle materials and adapt to different projects.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
