Experts In Luxury is the talent advisory group behind two established brands in the global luxury industry, working with luxury houses, independent brands, private groups and UHNW family offices across Europe, the GCC, the Americas and Asia.

• Luxury Recruit – founded in 2007 and one of the best-known names in luxury recruitment, built as a contingent business across fashion, fine jewellery and watches, beauty, hospitality, auction houses and design.

WHY THIS ROLE, AND WHY NOW

After nearly two decades building the business, the founder is planning a proper succession: stepping back from day-to-day billing over time to become Executive Chairman, and handing leadership to the right person.

In recent years the founder has focused the group on retained search, and Luxury Recruit has been deliberately quiet. That creates two opportunities: grow the retained practice, and bring Luxury Recruit back to market. We're looking for a Managing Partner to lead one, or both.

TWO ROUTES IN

Retained – Luxury Executive

Win and deliver C-suite, Board and senior leadership searches, from brief to placement. In year one, you'll be running live mandates, taking ownership of key client relationships and becoming the senior face of the practice.

Relaunch Luxury Recruit for mid-level, senior and specialist roles below executive level. In year one, you'll be billing, rebuilding the client base and candidate network, and laying the groundwork to hire your first consultants.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on billing leadership role. You'll win and deliver business yourself from day one, working closely with the founder at first, then taking on more of the clients, the commercial decisions and, as billings allow, the team. The business runs lean, with AI-enabled research and sourcing tools, so your time goes on clients, candidates and closing.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• A strong personal billing record in retained search, contingent recruitment, or both
• Experience recruiting within luxury, fashion, fine jewellery and watches, beauty, hospitality, auction houses, design or family offices
• A network of clients and candidates who trust you
• Experience running a desk, team or P&L
• The credibility to advise founders, CEOs and boards
• International reach across Europe, the GCC, the USA and/or Asia is a strong advantage
• The ambition to own a business, not just work in one

WHAT WE OFFER

• Base salary plus a meaningful share of the fees you bill, discussed openly at first conversation
• Equity that vests against agreed billing milestones over a defined period, typically three to five years, with an agreed route to majority or full ownership
