Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior High Jewellery Sales Consultant to join this exceptional maison. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high jewellery sales, a strong network of UHNW clients, and the ability to proactively drive business in a by-appointment environment. This is an opportunity to work with some of the world's finest gemstones and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with UHNW and HNW clients, delivering exceptional personalised service
- Proactively develop new business through networking, client outreach, and leveraging existing relationships
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through consultative selling of high jewellery pieces
- Host private client appointments and VIP viewings
- Represent the maison at events, exhibitions, and trunk shows
- Provide expert guidance on coloured gemstones, diamonds, and bespoke commissions
- Maintain detailed client records and follow up on opportunities
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver seamless client experiences
Requirements
Essential:
- Available to start immediately or within one month
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in high jewellery sales
- Proven track record of sales exceeding £1 million+ annually
- Established network of UHNW/HNW clients
- Experience with a recognised high jewellery maison
- Ability to work proactively in a low foot traffic, appointment-led environment
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine passion for gemstones and fine jewellery
- Fluent English
Desirable:
- GIA or equivalent gemological qualification
- Additional languages (advantageous)
- Experience with bespoke and commission sales
- Existing client book
