We're looking for a Social Account Director to play a leading role in social & content delivery across complex accounts within the agency. The role sits within the Social Partner team, which is responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative social content for our clients through collaborating with our Creative, Production, Performance and Strategy teams. All team members act as key client contacts and are responsible for the running of projects, with a key role in ensuring we produce successful and exciting content across platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Overseeing the delivery of complex social content projects.
- Implementing clear processes through collaboration with key functions and seniors across the business.
- Ensuring delivery on new business, strategies and significant projects for clients.
- Driving innovation and quality output in your own work and in the teams you work with.
- Providing a high level of social consultancy and senior client support.
Requirements
- Must-Haves
- Agency experience at an Account Director level or equivalent.
- Social & content background.
- Proven experience managing large or complex accounts in a leading role.
- Excellent project management capabilities and an eye for best-practice delivery.
- Confident and consultative approach with senior clients.
- Strong collaborator able to interface with a variety of internal specialists and external stakeholders.
- Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with both B2B and B2C clients.
- Influencer experience.
- Experience with global clients.
Key Disciplines
- Client Relations β Key client contact on a large retained social account with the ability to develop strong relationships, handle difficult situations with senior clients and drive excellence in our output.
- Stakeholder liaison across complex projects and campaigns.
- Social and content β Ability to lead and present on strategic and creative thinking and come across as a consultant.
- Act as a guardian and catalyst for best in class innovative content, working hand in hand with creatives.
- Key strategic content lead, constantly evaluating success of strategy and opportunities for evolution.
- Account Delivery and growth β End-to-end delivery of large accounts and complex projects, overcoming obstacles, demonstrating agility, and leading with clarity from a client and internal perspective.
- Lead on effective collaboration within your accounts.
- Oversight of large teams and accounts to ensure account health, quality control, and proactivity, including acting as the client escalation point where necessary, as well as commercials account growth.
- Opportunities β Collaborate with other seniors across the business on proposals, pitches, etc., acting as a connector between various disciplines (e.g. performance, creative, etc).
- Bring a strategic point of view on overall approach and social content.
- Take ownership of commercial targets and motivate core team to help deliver against them.
