We're looking for an Agency Marketing & Operations Manager - someone who runs the engine room of our agency's marketing, culture, and day-to-day operations. The person who keeps us sharp, cohesive, and ensures we present ourselves consistently internally and externally.
What you'll be doing day-to-day
- Agency Marketing & Comms
- Own Agency awards: research, recommend, write entries (solo or with team inputs), and manage submissions
- Source and write Agency case studies - from raw notes to polished stories
- Update and maintain our website (Squarespace): new pages, case studies, team updates
- Update and maintain our email marketing system (Hubspot): email campaigns, database management
- Turn press articles and LinkedIn updates into blogs
- Keep our platform profiles up to date (Creativepool, StudioSpace, Mosaic, DCA etc.)
- Support Directors with LinkedIn content that showcases agency work and wins
- Help run content and creative operations for our key events (Foresight, Onwards, etc.)
- Liaise with our PR agency to ensure we hit press targets & get appropriate POV from the agency shared with relevant trade titles
- Events & Culture
- Plan and run agency events - socials, training sessions, Show & Tells, Company Catch-ups, monthly breakfasts, annual Offsite event
- Source venues, manage RSVPs, book suppliers, brief design resource, oversee on-the-day execution
- Manage birthday and anniversary moments (gifts, celebrations)
- Help shape the ongoing employee experience - the small touches that make eight&four feel like eight&four
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Work alongside our People Director on recruitment admin - interview scheduling, panel coordination
- Manage all aspects of new starter onboarding from offer to end of probation
- Create onboarding schedules, liaise on IT setup with our Head of IT, run check-ins, coordinate feedback
- Keep our HR platform bob and internal records accurate and updated
- Ensure new joiners have a brilliant, seamless first impression
- General Operations
- Diary management for senior leadership (selective but important)
- Maintain oversight of agency equipment, couriering, and office-day needs
- Support with finance admin: Pleo approvals, receipt chasing, statement uploads
- Ensure our office environment stays welcoming, well-run, and fully stocked
- The go-to problem-solver for the team - the person people trust to just get things sorted
Requirements
- High-energy, proactive, organised - you see problems before others do
- Strong writer with sharp judgement and a great eye for quality
- Confident communicator, comfortable with stakeholders at all levels
- Warm, people-first, and naturally good at building rapport
- Able to juggle multiple moving parts without dropping the essentials
- Excited by creative environments and the pace that comes with them
Experience that helps
- Experience in a creative, social, or digital agency
- Strong writing skills - awards, blogs, or case-study experience is a big advantage
- Comfortable with CMS platforms (Squarespace, Hubspot or similar)
- Experience supporting events or agency culture initiatives
- Bonus: experience with HR or onboarding processes
