We are looking for a Junior Creative Digital Designer to join our expanding Creative team. We are looking for someone passionate about design - with experience of creating a wide variety of design assets - from static social content and short form videos, through to high impact A1 print posters. You will be involved in design work across our social and creative clients - from campaign support and social content calendars through to video and digital assets.
We ideally want someone who has experience working across one or more of the following sectors: Travel & Hospitality, Charity, Automotive, Logistics, Finance or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly research on social creative design and share findings during team meetings/ via Slack
- Collaborate with social team to create high quality video and designed content for our social clients as part of monthly retainers and ad hoc campaigns/projects
- Provide design support for the variety of creative projects the agency tackle e.g. website design, branding, print, event collateral, pitch presentations, photography and video
- The position is client facing, so you will be able to present to, and collaborate with clients
- Challenge the Creative team by keeping up to date on latest trends, innovations and progression in the design sector
Skills and Experience you need to have:
- Experience in an agency environment is ideal - where you can work across a range of clients, styles and challenges
- Proven experience in a digital creative environment - clearly understand the landscape, and can talk confidently to colleagues and clients about opportunities
- Comprehensive Adobe Creative Suite experience - advanced use of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After-Effect as a minimum, plus video software (open to a range of experience levels within video)
- Excellent eye for detail - ensuring all work leaving the creative department is of the highest standards possible, continuously reviewing work, and striving to improve the quality of design work in the agency
- A natural collaborator - facilitating and constantly improving collaboration between our departments and clients
- Curiosity - constantly keeping up to date on latest trends, innovations and progression in design
- Positive and solution-based attitude - we are considered the creative problem solvers for the agency
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritise and drive forward multiple projects at a time
- A proven ability to explain your creative thinking, and guide stakeholder decisions
- Bonus experience in at least one of these areas; Typography, Illustration, Photography & Video filming
