This role would suit a hands-on finance manager or qualified accountant looking to enhance their skills in a fast paced FMCG organisation.
The Role
- Overseeing the day-to day financial operations.
- Managing a small transactional team to implement financial controls.
- Preparing weekly KPI reports, monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT submissions and government reporting.
- Managing and coordinating annual budgeting and reforecast process.
- Preparing year-end audit files and liaising with external auditors.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, including bank managers and suppliers.
- Assist the Head of Finance on special projects across the business.
The Person
- 4 years+ post qualified or qualified by experience accountant, ideally in retail environment.
- Management and leadership experience.
- Hands-on individual, who is not afraid to challenge and improve processes.
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Desired Criteria
- Commercial and hands-on.
- Previous experience working in fast moving retail environment.
- Experience working with group of companies, and group consolidation.
- Working knowledge of Sage50 cloud and or Orbis.
