We're expanding rapidly and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join us as a Tax & Accountancy Apprentice. Whether you're taking your first step into the industry or already have some experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience while working towards a professional qualification - all within a company that genuinely supports your development.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
  • Helping to complete VAT returns and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
  • Managing Companies House filings (confirmation statements, director changes, etc.)
  • Assisting with client onboarding, AML checks and engagement letters
  • Communicating with clients and handling day-to-day queries
  • Gaining exposure to tax planning, business start-ups and other advisory work
  • Liaising with HMRC and third parties on behalf of clients

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in developing a career in accountancy and tax
  • Sound numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Xero or other accounting software is an advantage, though training will be provided
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
