OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting.
General Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff or department.
- Maintain the school’s reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Manage attendance records, process visitor sign-ins, and issue visitor badges.
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining school records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events as needed.
- Support the administrative team with daily operations and special projects.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with school policies.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Pay: £15.95 - £18.00 per hour
