Facilities Assistant - Full-Time (Temp To Perm)
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £25,242 - £26,252 per annum + £600 annual 'on-call' allowance
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start Date: Immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Building & Grounds Maintenance: Ensure the grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Empty bins and collect litter daily. Support the Facilities Manager in overseeing contractors, ensuring high standards of work and hygiene.
- Health & Safety: Conduct regular hazard checks and ensure health and safety compliance. Supervise contractors and maintain up-to-date risk assessments. Ensure hazardous substances are handled safely.
- Security & Site Operations: Assist with opening and closing the site, ensuring security and safety measures are in place. Act as a key holder and liaise with security teams.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness across the site, including classrooms, meeting rooms, and hallways. Coordinate with cleaning contractors and ensure graffiti is removed promptly.
- Event Set-Up & Support: Manage room setups for events, assist with event parking, and work with staff to ensure smooth event operations.
