EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are looking to recruit an Engagement Advisor to join our C2G team based in either Calvert or Brackley offices.
Responsibilities
- Support the local Engagement Manager in all aspects of their work.
- Assist with the creation of relevant news bulletins and public-facing information (e.g. Newsletters and Advance Works Notices).
- Support the wider Engagement team with the development of Engagement Plans and associated materials.
- Co-ordinate engagement activities such as community meetings, webinars and drafting presentations.
- Support meetings with note-taking and action tracking.
- Support EKFB community engagement activities, events and meetings (both virtual and face-to-face).
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Good people and communication skills.
- Good ICT and written skills.
- Ability to build relations internally and externally.
- Can work independently and is proactive.
- Ability to travel independently to work from different locations and occasionally work outside office hours.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (desirable).
- Knowledge of the rail/infrastructure/construction industry (desirable).
