About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture of four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. We will deliver civil engineering works for a high‑speed rail project in the UK.

We are seeking a Sub Agent to join our Engineering team based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. The role involves participating in construction strategy, kick‑off meetings, pre‑commencement documentation, procurement, design delivery schedules and coordination of construction operations.

The Sub Agent will liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works. They will manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. The role requires ensuring construction activities conform to contract requirements, programme, budget and SHEQ standards. The Sub Agent will also assist with production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.

About You

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent, and working towards institute membership (ICE).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
  • Must have own transport to be able to attend site(s) in remote areas.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • CSCS White, White‑Yellow, Red‑Experienced, Black‑Manager or Gold‑Supervisor.

Security Clearance

BPSS security clearance will be required (to be undertaken as part of the onboarding process).
