We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Onboarding and Training Coordinator to join our People team in Milton Keynes. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new starters while ensuring training activities are coordinated efficiently across the project.
Working closely with our labour providers and works teams, you will onboard all operatives in a timely manner, ensuring all competencies are uploaded and verified. You will coordinate and monitor background screening checks through to completion, supporting the provision of IT equipment and maintain accurate employee records across relevant systems.
The role involves monitoring shared team mailboxes, responding to enquiries within agreed service levels, and escalating issues where necessary. You will also support white-collar onboarding activities to ensure continuity of service and compliance across the project.
In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating training bookings to ensure training is delivered across the project in a cost-effective and efficient manner, whilst maintaining high standards. You will work with stakeholders to ensure training requirements are completed within agreed timescales, maintain an accurate project training matrix, and produce regular reports to support compliance.
About Us: EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22 km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
