EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. We are currently looking for a HR Coordinator to join our team based in Milton Keynes. This role will require regular travel to our site office in Aylesbury.
In this role, you will be involved in supporting the HR team across EKFB projects, providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee records, reporting and HR coordination. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, project teams and site managers to assist in delivering HR support to operational teams across multiple locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate employee data
- Supporting recruitment coordination
- Assisting with onboarding new starters, including inductions and compliance checks
- Supporting employee relations activities, including coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and taking notes
- Assisting with HR reporting and data management, ensuring information is accurate and up to date within HR systems
- Supporting training coordination, absence tracking and general HR queries from employees and managers
Experience supporting employee relations cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management would be desirable. Working with wider project teams, you will help ensure HR processes are delivered consistently across the project.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Previous HR administration experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with site teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and HR systems
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable
- Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
