About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We are seeking a skilled Highways and Drainage Sub-Agent to manage and coordinate the delivery of track drainage works undertaken by specialist subcontractors. You will ensure that drainage installations are planned, executed, and completed to high standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role requires strong technical understanding of rail and earthworks drainage systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple interfaces on site.
You will need to be able to liaise with the Agent and assist in developing work packages, method statements, task briefs, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and technical documentation. You will also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.
Monitor progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and communicate issues promptly to the Site Agent and project management team, whilst ensuring subcontractors adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols, particularly in high-risk environments such as confined spaces, and deep excavations.
