EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Site Agent in the Chipping Warden area to join our portal building team.

As a Senior Site Agent you will need to assist with the construction strategy, including kick‑off meetings, pre‑commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules. This position will need to liaise with the Agent, Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. The role will also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of the team.

The Senior Agent will coordinate construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and that the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is achieved. This position will manage the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.

Some roles may also be subject to further pre‑employment checks. BPSS security clearance will be required (to be undertaken as part of the onboarding process).

About You:

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent
  • Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red
  • Experienced Mandatory SMSTS
  • You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience with portal building and tunnels is desirable.
  • Previous experience in people management
