About the Role
EKFB is a joint venture of four leading civil engineering and construction companies. This role is based in Milton Keynes with regular travel to our site office in Aylesbury. As an HR Coordinator you will support the HR team across EKFB projects, providing administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee records, reporting and coordination. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, project teams and site managers, assisting in delivering HR support to operational teams across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate employee data in HR systems
- Supporting recruitment coordination and onboarding of new starters, including inductions and compliance checks
- Managing employee relations activities such as coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and taking notes; supporting employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
- Assisting with HR reporting and data management, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
- Coordinating training, tracking absences and handling general HR queries from employees and managers
- Ensuring consistent delivery of HR processes across the project and wider teams

- Ability to build relationships with site teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and HR systems
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle essential
